In this role, you will lead and coordinate the daily operations of the laboratory to ensure the highest quality and accuracy in testing, while also providing mentorship and support for the laboratory team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee daily laboratory operations, including scheduling and workflow management

Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all phases of the laboratory testing process

Ensure adherence to laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Monitor quality assurance and quality management programs, addressing any deviations

Oversee proficiency testing and compliance with all accrediting agencies

Provide training, mentorship, and competency assessments for laboratory team members

Support education and professional development initiatives for laboratory staff

Collect and analyze data to support laboratory goals and process improvements

Assist with management duties during supervisor or manager absences

Qualification

Required

State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

Bachelor's Degree in Biological or Clinical Science-related field
