Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of Thermo King vehicle-powered (VP) and auxiliary power units (APU) on trucks, tractors, and vans

Support senior technicians with mechanical installations, component mounting, basic wiring, and system setup

Follow installation guidelines, safety procedures, and quality standards to ensure all work meets Sonsray expectations

Perform basic shop tasks such as tool organization, parts staging, and work area cleanup

Learn proper use of hand and power tools in a shop environment

Accurately document work performed as directed by the Service Manager or lead technician

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations and dealership objectives

Mechanical aptitude or interest in pursuing a career in fleet, diesel, or equipment service

Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from senior technicians

Ability to safely operate hand and power tools- tools will be provided

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to work in a shop environment, including standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools and equipment

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (as required)

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred

Previous hands-on experience (automotive, diesel, HVAC, construction, or shop environment) is a plus but not required
