Senior Director, Corporate Development

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to play a leadership role in shaping the company's long-term growth strategy. The Senior Director will lead the evaluation and execution of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture investments, and strategic partnerships across various sectors.

Responsibilities

Deal Leadership: Help lead M&A, joint ventures, venture investments, and strategic partnerships, from sourcing and due diligence to negotiation, structuring, operation planning and integration
Corporate Strategy & Innovation: Partner with senior leadership to evaluate new business models, innovation opportunities, and emerging technologies that can accelerate growth
Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct strategic market research, industry benchmarking, and competitive assessments to identify new business opportunities and inform decision-making
Financial Leadership: Build financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses to evaluate investment opportunities and business plans
Executive Communications: Craft and deliver high-quality presentations and recommendations for the CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and other senior stakeholders
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders and strategic counterparties
Team Development: Mentor and manage junior members of the Corporate Development team

Required

Bachelor's degree required
10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or management consulting
Exceptional financial modeling and valuation expertise, with ability to assess complex deal structures
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated experience driving corporate innovation
Superior written and verbal communication skills, including Board-level presentation experience
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and executive presence
English required

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience leading complex deals in the Media industry strongly preferred
Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
