Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents
Work closely with property management and tenants to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed
Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions to help to deter potential disruptions or incidents
Qualification
Required
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
Ability to ride a bike is required
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
