Responsibilities

Assist in the mechanical design and analysis of product components, enclosures, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo)
Conduct hands-on design verification testing (DVT) on new product prototypes, including functional, environmental, and reliability testing
Document test procedures, collect and analyze test data, and generate detailed test reports
Support the fabrication and assembly of mechanical prototypes and test fixtures
Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve design and test-related issues
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback on mechanical designs
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation, including bills of material (BOMs), and assembly instructions
Learn and apply industry best practices for mechanical design and DVT processes

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD) is a plus
Hands-on experience with basic lab equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, hand tools) is desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
A genuine interest in optical and network test solutions
