Business Application Analyst Senior

Responsibilities
Conducts technical/operational analysis for departmental and institutional planning and capacity improvement. Identifies through data analysis, opportunities for improvement in application workflows as it pertains to provider scheduling templates
Documents detailed operational processes and associated application processing. Takes lead in development and implementation of required system enhancements
Evaluates requests and consults in design for new or modified applications, solutions and reports to determine feasibility and compatibility with Epic best practice within the Cadence module. Identifies and recommends solution development for complex projects and ensures best practice development. Formulates and develops plans at a high level and documents required steps to achieve stated requirements. Reviews plans with management/peers as appropriate
Responsible for creating and running workflow test scripts to support enhanced functionality and to ensure accuracy of requested system enhancements
Functions as a technical consultant to the health care system and maintains high service levels. Participates in system wide initiatives to improve efficiency and reach institutional goals and objectives
Assists other Epic Core teams with selection and technical evaluation of products and tools to ensure that the proposed solution adheres to enterprise-wide requirements, adapts to new requirements and changing technologies in order to meet business standardization protocols and objectives
May supervise and provide guidance to Business Applications Analysts, Template Optimization Specialists, Clinic Template Coordinators and Access Center Schedulers/Leadership to ensure best practices, standard methodologies and processes are executed
Maintains a high level of customer service and support. Provides business process, application support, and training to system super-users. Analyzes and interprets program or system problems and coordinates resolution. Communicate as necessary with vendors and Information Services to resolve problems
Takes lead and works independently in providing training for users, technical teams and Care Access teammates providing tips and techniques of using systems applications for desired results. Coordinates employee training for new system implementation. Assists with workflow modifications
Responsible for implementing and leading major system processes and ensuring that the data is accurate before it is released to operational and clinical leaders
Represents the Care Access department and participates in system wide initiatives to improve efficiency and reach institutional goals/objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information System Management, Math/Science or related field
Epic Cadence certification (required)
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience working with information systems
Expertise with Epic Cadence visit type and template build (required)
Preferred
Additional Epic certifications a plus
Ten (10) Years Preferred Experience
