Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and institutional projects
Oversee project documentation , ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards
Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and construction teams to deliver fully integrated, coordinated solutions
Participate in client meetings , presenting technical findings and design concepts clearly and confidently
Mentor and support junior engineers and designers , providing technical guidance and encouraging professional development
Review and approve design work to maintain consistency, efficiency, and adherence to project goals
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope
Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation across projects and workflows
Contribute to strategic initiatives , helping shape the direction and best practices of the engineering team
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering
4+ years of progressive experience in electrical system design, analysis, or consulting
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and design practices, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to communicate effectively —both verbally and in writing—with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Highly self-motivated and dependable, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks
Desire to grow into leadership or management roles within a collaborative engineering environment
