Trauma Program Manager - Monday through Friday, Day Shift

The Trauma Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Trauma Program, including oversight of the trauma registry, performance improvement, education, and research.

Responsibilities

1. Clinical Management
1.1 Provide leadership and mentoring to the trauma staff by displaying excellence in trauma nursing
2. Organizational Leadership
2.1 Promotes the organization to all customers by interpreting and communicating the mission and values of Bridgeport Hospital/YNHHS and acting as a loyal, supportive and informed spokesperson for the program, division and hospital
3. Customer Service
3.1 Ensures that all staff members are held accountable for adhering to customer relations standards, reflecting excellence for internal and external customers
4. Outcomes Management
4.1 Ensure that desired clinical outcomes are achieved through cost effective and efficient processes

Qualification

Baccalaureate Degree in NursingTrauma experienceCurrent CT State RN licenseProgram management experienceLeadership experience

Required

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
Five years clinical practice experience required
Two years trauma experience required
One to two years of demonstrated leadership, supervisory, management or program management experience required
Current CT State RN license and/or eligibility for CT state RN licensure required

Preferred

Master's Degree in healthcare related field preferred
