Responsibilities
Analyzing and recommending network requirements
Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure
Analyzing network workload
Monitoring network capacity and performance
Diagnosing and resolving network problems
Recommending network backup and recovery procedures
Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services
Qualification
Required
Active Secret Clearance
6+ years of relevant professional experience in network engineering/services
Proven experience in network planning, implementation, and support
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and security principles
Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
Proficiency with network operating systems and hardware
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CISSP)
