Responsibilities

Support failure analysis engineers in sample preparation process of discrete devices
Utilize machining tools to perform teardown of top-level assemblies and isolate components
Perform sample preparation via mechanical polishing and cross sectioning of isolated components for further failure analysis
Relay results via written and verbal reports

Required

Possess reasonable mechanical skills and a keen analytical mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Preferred

Machine shop or CNC machining experience a strong plus
Some familiarity with basic electrical measurements using digital multimeter and power supply a plus
Proficiency in soldering a plus
Proven capacity to rapidly acquire new knowledge and make impactful contributions in a rapidly changing environment
