Responsibilities
Understand and confidently represent our products, driving sales and meeting targets by cultivating strong connections with sales leads
Understand each veterinary practice’s needs and tailor demos accordingly to showcase the values of Shepherd and align them to their needs
Close opportunities by managing the sales process and internal team members to move qualified prospects through the sales cycle to closing
Create strong feedback loops with the product team, surfacing interesting insights from all customer interactions. Help us grow!
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and team events to keep the Shepherd flag flying high through face-to-face interactions with our target market
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in practice at a Veterinary clinic or hospital
Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience, bonus points for SaaS solutions
Willingness to travel ~15% of the time for events
A clear and concise communication style with the ability to provide solutions based on the audience
