Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Manual

Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed manual test cases based on product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage in Agile projects
Troubleshoot and validate fixes in existing applications, performing root cause analysis where needed
Participate actively in design and architectural discussions, reviewing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and identifying dependencies
Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure product consistency, robustness, and scalability
Support end users during UAT by clarifying issues and validating fixes
Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, and daily stand-ups to support quality delivery
Report test results clearly and provide actionable feedback to development teams to drive continuous improvement
Help define and maintain QA standards, frameworks, testing strategies for complex projects, and continuous improvements to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness
Lead test planning for large-scale releases and coordinate efforts across multiple teams
Support automation adoption and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
Mentor junior QA analysts and provide guidance on advanced testing techniques
Collaborate with architecture and product leadership to influence design decisions for quality and scalability
Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for critical releases
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years' relevant experience in software quality assurance, including designing and authoring test cases
5+ years of experience with defect tracking and test management tools
5+ relevant financial services industry experience
2+ years' experience with Postman, Tricentis TTA and Jira
3+ years of working in and with Salesforce, FiServ, Open Financial Platforms, web applications, microservices and APIs
Strong analytical skills and detailed orientation
High level understanding of system architecture
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies and QA lifecycle
Ability to read and use system design artifacts such as flowcharts and wireframes
Experience with core software applications (Salesforce, Open Finance Platform, FiServ) is desirable
Expert knowledge of MS Office products and Design & Development best practices preferred
