Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations
Maintain ownership of assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts and prepare supporting schedules
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances in a timely manner
Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with IFRS and Company accounting policies
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations
Assist with fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation
Support accounting for prepaid expenses, accruals, and other routine accounting areas
Coordinate with AP, AR, Payroll, and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial data
Comply with internal control procedures and support ICFR / K-SOX documentation and testing
Ensure adherence to Company quality, safety, and compliance policies
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
1~3 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably experience with multi-year construction projects
Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, Technical Accounting, and ability to research given topics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with SAP preferred
