New Grad, Entry LevelT. Baker Smith is seeking motivated Survey Aides to join our teams and work under the direction of the Party Chief to complete the crew’s assigned field survey projects. The role involves assisting in operating survey instruments, compiling survey data, and ensuring safety during field operations.

Responsibilities
Assist in operating necessary survey instruments to fulfill project requirements
Assist in compiling notes, sketches, and records of survey data obtained
Gather necessary equipment and supplies to fulfill project requirements
Review project requirements with the party chief
Participate in daily job safety analysis
Participate in daily tailgate safety meetings
Communicate with field operations lead on daily crew assignments
Complete safety observation report as required
Report incidents to the appropriate personnel
Complete incident report as required
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients in the field
Perform work in a safe and efficient manner
Monitor work conditions and responsibly use stop work authority
Assist in scheduling routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment
Identify and report any equipment failure on work order maintenance form
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma OR its equivalent
Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
