Responsibilities
Receive telephone calls and emails from users experiencing issues with business applications or seeking guidance on specific application functions
Identify the nature of the problem, whether hardware-related or application-based, and log it in the tracking system
Escalate issues according to defined procedures
Guide users through problem-solving steps effectively
Utilize technical databases and collaborate with colleagues to research and resolve problems
Employ reference publications and diagnostic tools to address technical issues
Coordinate changes, upgrades, and new products to ensure system compatibility with current and future environments
Provide accurate and timely responses to general use and administrative environment inquiries
Communicate status updates clearly and effectively
Manage and report time spent on all work activities
Adhere to quality standards and complete assigned tasks
Work collaboratively in a team environment
Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualification
Required
3 years of experience promptly answering help desk phone calls and responding to emails
3 years of experience escalating issues to senior staff by assigning ServiceNow incidents appropriately
3 years of experience performing agency computer repairs and installing software/updates
3 years of experience assisting senior technical staff with lower-level tasks, such as acquiring data and running reports
1 year of experience running daily reports and managing their delivery
1 year of experience creating ServiceNow incidents for all phone and email requests
1 year of experience providing assistance with cable clean-up, installations, data center cleaning, and equipment management
