Responsibilities
Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to improve testing efficiency, product quality, and compliance with specifications. Manage the integration of automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines
Test Environment Management: Create, configure, and maintain test environments that simulate different user scenarios and conditions
Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and communicate software defects clearly and accurately, collaborating closely with developers for swift resolution
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and operations, to ensure thorough testing coverage and continuous improvement
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to enhancing testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive excellence in the development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of proven work experience in automated QA
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript / PowerShell / C#)
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems
Solid knowledge of backend testing (APIs, DBs, Microservices)
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
A proactive, shift-left mindset – ability to identify issues early and work to prevent them
Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
