Wastewater Project Manager

Responsibilities

Lead multi-discipline and complex wastewater design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases
Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects to approved scope, budget, and schedule
Perform engineering technical reviews and implement AECOM quality standards
Point of contact internally and externally for projects and clients in southern New England
Develop and mentor mid-level and junior staff for career development
Support business development activities, including technical and cost pricing efforts for proposals
Opportunity for participation in water and wastewater organizations through presentations at conferences and volunteering

Required

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 6+ years of related experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, pumping and collection systems or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Registered Professional Engineer in CT or ability to obtain within one year
Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review

Preferred

10+ years of related experience in wastewater consulting and engineering management
Previous experience leading scope, technical approach and pricing efforts for leading business development activities
Previous water and/or wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection systems and client relations experience
Previous experience leading client and public presentations
Ability to work collaboratively and motivate staff and project team
Experience with water treatment engineering
