Insight Global is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Developer to join a large natural-gas distributor company in Dallas, Texas. This position plays a critical role in leading SAP initiatives and driving the transition from Oracle EBS to SAP Asset Management as part of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) project. The role combines hands-on development in ABAP and advanced data modeling with strategic responsibilities such as stakeholder engagement and process optimization.

Responsibilities

5+ years of SAP experience with proven leadership and stakeholder engagement
SAP S/4HANA experience and deep understanding of its architecture
Advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (advanced business application programming), including debugging and optimization
Hands-on experience with CDS Views and advanced data modeling
Creating and optimizing composite views
Using annotations for UI, analytics, and authorization
Integrating CDS Views with OData services for Fiori apps
Excellent communication skills; self-starter with ability to work independently

Required

5+ years of SAP experience with proven leadership and stakeholder engagement
SAP S/4HANA experience and deep understanding of its architecture

Preferred

Basic understanding of Snowflake pipelines and data models
Integration experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP BTP
Familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SAP Event Mesh
Strong working knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, and scripting
Strong troubleshooting skills across network, hardware, application, and database layers
Strong functional expertise in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and asset management processes
