Responsibilities
Civil Engineering for commercial and industrial land development projects, including grading, storm drainage, detention design, floodplain mitigation, sewer and water infrastructure and site planning
With the aid of an EIT, research and interpret municipal codes and development regulations across various jurisdictions
Coordinate internally with architects and engineers to ensure cohesive and efficient designs
Support permitting processes by preparing plans and reports
Participate in design review meetings and provide input for improving plan efficiency and constructability
Contribute to a collaborative and mission-driven team environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
5–10 years of experience in land development and site design
Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems
Experience with site planning for commercial and industrial projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently, think critically, and communicate clearly
Passion for community service and a desire to serve others
Preferred
Additional licenses in Oklahoma and Louisiana, a plus but not required
