Supplier Performance Manager

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, committed to excellence and innovation. The Supplier Performance Manager is responsible for managing supplier relationships and executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve financial objectives, while collaborating with various teams to balance growth and supplier expectations.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain annual plans, promotional calendars, and sales tools
Develop and coordinate sales incentives and prioritization with Sales Management
Manage pricing, profit, and inventory, ensuring adequate supply and optimal levels
Own and oversee the Johnson Brothers LMFs, Supplier Billbacks and Banks
Conduct monthly inventory assessments and drive inventory reduction plans
Coordinate supplier meetings, reviews, ride-alongs, blitzes, and target account activities
Support RFP processes and provide input for business reviews and monthly supplier communications
Ensure brand activation and event management
Oversee the creation and distribution of sales materials, POS management, and marketing strategies
Maintain key account relationships, participate in market visits, and provide training and coaching to sales teams
Monitor and manage supplier accounts receivable, bill-backs, and ensure timely resolution with finance and accounting teams
Participate in General Sales Meetings, translating brand initiatives into actionable goals for the sales team
Create and distribute best practices around focus periods, goals, and program results

Required

BS degree or equivalent work experience; prior experience working in a wholesale/distributor environment
MUST have industry experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong presentation, and public speaking skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all functional areas and organizational levels
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Must be execution oriented with the ability to work independently
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Applications including PowerPoint & Excel
Attendance and punctuality is a must
Must have a valid driver's license and practice safe working and driving habits
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
