Responsibilities

You will support development of plans, procedures, and analyses related to continuity of operations, personnel accountability, evacuation and security, and asset risk management

You will leverage your expertise in crisis and/or emergency management to support new and existing initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree

3+ years of experience supporting emergency preparedness, response, or federal disaster recovery programs

Experience with Microsoft Visio and SharePoint

Must live within a commutable distance of Washington, D.C. and be able to work onsite in Washington, D.C. five days a week

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination

Ability to travel 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred

3+ years of experience with continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning and program concepts such as Business Impact Analysis and Business Process Analysis

3+ years of previous experience in one or more of the following areas: emergency management, crisis management, risk management, continuity of operations, business continuity, hazard mitigation, critical infrastructure protection, or resilience
