Responsibilities
Lead and mentor accounting team members (including offshore resources), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
Oversee training and development in accounting systems, reporting tools, and internal controls
Conduct regular team performance reviews and support staff career development
Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets
Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations
Support the financial integration of acquisitions and process harmonization post-close
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy
Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Drive automation and system optimization to support scalable growth
Provide financial analysis, variance explanations, and insights to management
Partner with business and operational teams to inform decision-making and support company initiatives
Prepare and present key financial metrics to leadership
Support the annual audit process and manage external auditor relationships
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities
Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Proven ability to improve accounting operations, streamline processes, and enhance data accuracy
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities
