Marketing Web Developer
Pragmatic Institute is a fully remote team dedicated to elevating professional education. They are seeking a Marketing Web Developer to support the execution, maintenance, and optimization of their WordPress-powered marketing websites, focusing on hands-on web development and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Build, update, and maintain web pages and templates within a WordPress environment
Support marketing campaigns through the implementation of landing pages, page updates, and technical enhancements
Assist with QA, testing, and validation for new pages, templates, and plugin updates
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Help maintain site health through routine maintenance, updates, and performance improvements
Implement SEO best practices and performance improvements in collaboration with SEO partners
Follow established development patterns, documentation, and QA processes
Collaborate with UX and design partners to accurately implement approved designs
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3–4 years of professional experience in web development
Strong working experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and page builders
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Basic PHP knowledge and familiarity with WordPress architecture
Exposure to technical SEO concepts and site performance optimization
Familiarity with WordPress page builders such as Elementor
Experience supporting production websites in a marketing or content-driven environment
Comfortable working in an existing codebase and following established patterns
Strong attention to detail and comfort handling multiple requests and priorities
Clear communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
Preferred
Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, or other analytics tools
Familiarity with HubSpot, email templates, or marketing automation workflows
Experience collaborating closely with UX designers and understanding UX best practices
