Regional Sales Manager
ABB is a global market leader focused on helping industries become leaner and cleaner. In this role, you will bring new business opportunities and improve existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant knowledge of products and markets, participating in sales strategy discussions, and negotiating the division sales budget.
Responsibilities
Creating the division sales plans for the area, in coordination with the Sales organization and teams
Analyzing the customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and the information provided by the Sales organization
Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, services, and packages provided by the company
Supporting the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of competitive/strategic offers
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience covering North America in MES, and the Blending and Formulation market
More than 3 years of experience in direct sales and sales management
Experience in managing sales pursuit with Direct End-user and EPCs
Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and service categories
Strong understanding of Blending and Formulation. Experience of engagement with Paint, Resins and Specialty Chemicals customers. Additionally, Pulp & Paper experience will be an added value
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred, but not required
Experience in Blending Solutions (Powder Handling Systems, Pigging Lines, Mixers, Modular Skids, Engineered Packages including Mechanical, Electrical, Instruments and Automation Systems) is preferred
