Responsibilities
Serve as the primary functional consultant for SAP FICO, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and close processes
Assess business requirements and implement scalable SAP FICO configurations
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements
Support integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP or third-party systems
Ensure financial and procurement processes within SAP and Coupa meet SOX and internal control requirements
Update documentation, control narratives, and risk assessments as needed
Support audits, evidence gathering, SOD reviews, and user access validation
Lead assigned SAP- and Coupa-related projects from planning through execution
Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource needs
Facilitate cross-functional alignment and ensure timely issue resolution
Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP BSA or SAP Functional Analyst
Expertise in SAP FICO configuration and support
Strong experience supporting Coupa (Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses, or Sourcing)
Solid understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
Proven ability to lead and execute projects independently
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience supporting systems within biotech, life sciences, pharma, or advanced manufacturing
Knowledge of SAP–Coupa integration and P2P workflow optimization
Understanding of SAP security and segregation-of-duties principles
Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CPA, or Coupa credentials
