sunday is building a fast and simple payment solution for restaurants. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the onboarding of restaurants, manage daily operations, and collaborate with various teams to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface for complex strategic clients, coordinating with internal teams to meet their needs and ensure smooth rollouts

Oversee the team's regular workload, ensuring tasks like restaurant onboarding, customer escalations, and strategic initiatives are executed successfully and efficiently

Work closely with department leaders (e.g. product, engineering, sales) alongside the Director of Operations to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic goals

Support the execution of new product launches and initiatives by aligning relevant teams and embodying ownership

Serve as the first point of contact for team members, offering guidance on processes and assisting with complex cases that require escalation

Ensure the team follows all established operational policies and procedures. Contribute to the creation and improvement of systems and processes based on daily operations and feedback from the team

Required

Based in Chicago, Illinois

2-5 years experience in customer success, account management, consulting, operational, or S&O roles at startups, food industry, hospitality, or professional services companies

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey goals and deadlines clearly

Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You are structured, reliable, detail-oriented and communicate efficiently with all stakeholders

Skill in building strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
