Responsibilities

Be the engine behind smooth retirement plan operations—handling 401(k) deferrals, loans, QDROs, and other transactions with accuracy and care
Own retirement reporting, non-discrimination testing, and compliance (you keep everything on track)
Bring retirement plans to life through clear communications, training, and open enrollment support
Keep retirement data clean and current in HCMS, partnering closely with Payroll on updates
Take the lead on the annual 401(k) audit as the go-to contact—coordinating details, timelines, and solutions with auditors and partners
Act as a trusted guide for employees navigating retirement and deferred compensation questions
Run the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) plan, from open enrollment through ongoing compliance
Team up with internal partners and vendors to make retirement and NQDC processes seamless and stress-free
Be the go-to connector between our team, benefits brokers, and vendors—keeping things moving and issues resolved
Team up with the Benefits Coordinator to tackle billing, invoices, and quality checks with confidence and accuracy
Turn benefits data, trends, and employee feedback into insights that help improve programs people actually care about
Keep our benefits house in order by executing audits, ACA tracking, and clean HCMS data
Help bring Open Enrollment to life by coordinating timelines, communications, and materials employees can actually understand
Jump into enrollment meetings and support employees with questions about coverage, eligibility, and claims
Stay on top of benefits compliance (HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA—you’ve got this)
Collaborate with HC Operations and Payroll to make sure benefits data flows smoothly between systems
Create clear guides, training materials, and reports that make benefits easier for everyone
Pitch in on wellbeing initiatives and handle self-billed life and disability invoices with precision

Qualification

Required

2–5 years of hands-on experience administering benefits and retirement plans, including annual testing and audits
2–5 years of solid know-how across employee benefits programs, retirement plans, and HRIS/HCM systems
2–5 years of experience managing projects from idea to execution within HR or benefits
2–5 years of navigating federal and state compliance requirements and keeping programs on the right side of the rules
1–3 years of advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables don't scare you)
1–3 years of exceptional attention to detail paired with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
