They are seeking an Intellectual Property Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in their Intellectual Property practice group, focusing on managing patent applications and correspondence with clients and foreign associates.

Responsibilities

Review and organize files; review docket for deadlines

Prioritize workload to meet foreign filing deadlines and due dates

Prepare and review appropriate correspondence from foreign patent associates and to clients and associates regarding new applications, formal requirements, filing details, etc

Assist in filing of U.S., International (PCT), and foreign patent applications (including preparation and review of necessary filing documents)

Process Office Actions from US and foreign patent offices

Familiarity with the USPTO Patent Center, and experience filing patent applications and responses therein

Prepare, maintain and update reports for clients regarding status of applications and patents, including reporting filing receipts for applications, publication notices and forwarding patent certificates

Required

Minimum of 2-5 years Intellectual Property experience and have previous Foreign filing experience, and strong computer skills

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required for successful achievement
