Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities
Develops comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
Provides oversight for multiple concurrent projects and programs
Identifies and resolves challenges during project execution, making critical decisions to keep projects on track
Ensures adherence to scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining quality standards
Monitors progress and adjusts plans as needed to meet objectives
Engages with prospects, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the projects
Serves as the primary liaison between executive leadership, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure alignment and responsiveness
Facilitates meetings and ensures effective communications across teams
Communicates effectively and provides executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations to communicate progress, risks, and outcomes
Coordinates resources effectively to optimize productivity
Maintains accurate project documentation (i.e., contracts, change orders, RFI’s correspondence, etc.)
Ensure compliance with County policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Performs duties as assigned/necessary which are related, or logical in assignment to the position
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or closely related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent
Must possess ten (10) years of progressive project management experience with a proven track record of leading strategic, high-impact projects in complex environments
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
Expertise in project management and recordkeeping methodologies
Proficiency in project management tools
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
Proven ability to manage complex projects
High adaptability in dynamic environments
Executive presence and ability to influence at all levels
Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
Ability to perform routine to moderately complex mathematical computations and tabulations accurately and efficiently
Ability to operate basic office equipment, e.g., computer terminals, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, and facsimile machines
Ability to evaluate and analyze data and make recommendations based on sound judgment
Physical Demand: Light
20 pounds maximum lifting
Frequent (up to 2/3 of the work time) lifting, carrying up to 10 lbs
If less lifting involved will require significant walking/standing may be required
If mostly sitting is involved will require push/pull on arm or leg controls
Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken word or perceiving sound by ear
Good eyesight for production or safety of self and others
Physical agility is required in kneeling, bending, stooping, and reaching
Required to have clear vision at distances of 20 inches or less
