PACS/Radiology Analyst

Alan B. Miller Medical Center is a new state-of-the-art hospital set to open in Spring 2026, part of the UHS regional network. The PACS/Radiology Analyst will provide clinical and technical support to the PACS environment, ensuring system uptime and providing support to medical staff and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical and technical support to the PACS environment, including but not limited to the RIS, PACS and dictation systems
The system administrator will be responsible for maintaining maximum PACS, CPACS, RIS, and Dictation system uptime through strategic planning and development, daily maintenance procedures, communications, system troubleshooting, change control coordinator and historian, and maintaining disaster recovery and response procedures
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times
Will provide technical and customer support for medical staff physicians and hospital staff
Work with various vendors and provide coverage for upgrades and new modality connectivity to PACS
Coordinate and be responsible for the security of the system
Works with Information Systems in researching and analyzing concerns/issues to recommend problem resolutions
Performs other job duties and responsibilities as required or directed

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology or Associates Degree in Computer Science
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology
Demonstrates strong, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public
Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of various software applications
Active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license or Computer Science Degree

Preferred

Minimum Two (2) years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist preferred or 5 years Radiologic Information Systems experience
