Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and oversee multiple financial and accounting due diligence engagements simultaneously
Analyze historical financial statements and underlying data; assess quality of earnings, working capital, and operating trends
Serve as a senior point of contact for private equity professionals, strategic buyers/sellers, and target company executives
Provide clear, practical commentary on financial performance, risks, and value drivers
Lead, mentor, and develop Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates; provide performance feedback and coaching
Support business development efforts by participating in proposals, pitches, and relationship-building initiatives
Manage client expectations around scope, deliverables, and deadlines; lead change efforts when needed
Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to cross-sell Aprio services
Stay current on transaction advisory, M&A, and private equity market trends

Required

8–10 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, audit, or related advisory services
Strong technical foundation in US GAAP and transaction advisory concepts
Proven experience leading financial due diligence engagements for private equity and/or strategic clients
Demonstrated ability to work confidently with senior executives and investment professionals
Strong leadership skills with experience developing and supervising teams
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA strongly preferred
Willingness to travel up to ~20%

Preferred

Big Four or large consulting firm background
Experience supporting proposals and new business initiatives
Prior exposure to multiple industries and complex transactions
