Attorney Recruiting Coordinator
Arnold & Porter is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator for their Talent Department in Washington, DC. The role involves assisting in the planning and execution of recruiting activities for summer associates, law students, and lateral hires, while ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.

Responsibilities
Assisting the Attorney Recruiting Manager in planning the summer associate program in Washington, DC including but not limited to, planning events, coordinating summer associate arrival and departure dates, and assisting with assignment evaluation collection, as needed
Facilitating the end-of-summer exit processes
Partnering with career services personnel and faculty to raise the firm’s profile on campus; scheduling career development meetings; interacting with the network of former Arnold & Porter summer associates
Working with the attorney recruiting team and National Hiring Committee representatives to implement an overall recruiting strategy
Providing support for the callback interview process; scheduling, greeting, and maintaining communication with candidates
Coordinating the on-campus interview process, including but not limited to, registering, scheduling, preparing interview materials, and submitting interview feedback forms to interviewing schools
Planning offer dinners and receptions and offer visits
Coordinating campus outreach events, including on-campus events designed to market the firm
Preparing and maintaining reports and statistics
Assisting the attorney recruiting team to hire and integrate judicial clerks, entry-level and lateral associates, and staff attorneys
Supporting the lateral associate interview process including identifying and presenting candidates, scheduling interviews, and collecting post-interview evaluations
Posting open positions on the firm’s external website and other job boards
Maintaining applicant files in the firm’s applicant tracking system
Supporting the pre-employment process (including offer approval, offer letters, reference checks, etc.)
Acting as a liaison for new employees with other firm departments
Preparing and maintaining reports and statistics
Qualification
Required
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of two (2) years of prior attorney recruiting experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment
Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Knowledge of the viDesktop platform is a plus
Knowledge of recruitment principles and concepts in a professional services or law firm environment
Understanding of current regulations associated with a lawful recruiting process
Ability to work efficiently and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail
Demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information
Ability to demonstrate strategic focus
Possess exceptional judgement and professionalism
Ability to define goals and follow through to achieve results
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Possess reliability, dependability, and motivation
Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written
Exceptional client service both internal and external
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
