Responsibilities

Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

Responsibility for managing team of Client Coordinators
Responsibility for all Workflow/Process Training of new and existing coordinators, including building, refining, and tracking training processes and results
Mentors Client Coordinators, being readily available to answer questions and give guidance
Collaborates with Director of Account Management on job aids, day-to-day team workflow, training gaps, and performance of team
Maintains regular, professional contact to create and foster relationships with client representatives
Researches and resolves issues and requests in a timely manner, including issues requiring direct interactions
Answers questions related to benefits program
Conducts reviews and works to provide guidance on compliance related matters
Assists in and prepares materials and collateral for meetings and discussions
Actively participates in discussions
Records and reports meeting discussion and action items
Oversees new vendor/carrier implementations
Reviews carrier, vendor, and plan documents and contracts
Maintains regular contact with carrier and vendor representatives to ensure client advocacy and that issues are being resolved in a timely manner
Works with clients to develop short and long-term employee communication objectives
Creates member facing collateral pieces to promote and clarify benefit program features
Leads in person, virtual, and telephonic sessions to provide information and plan details to participants
Uses regular interactions to update clients on carrier and vendor partner features and services
Actively participates and contributes to client service team operations to meet deadlines
Effectively communicates client updates to appropriate team members and maintain task management system

Required

3-5 years or more of similar or related experience preferred in insurance
Strong computer proficiency required
Experience with MS Office Suite required (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, InDesign)
Attains and maintains state life and health license in accordance with IMA standards
Limited travel required (less than 25%)
