Responsibilities
Manage portfolio-level utility performance analysis, including income recovery, expense trends, and rate optimization. (Essential)
Lead analysis of material utility variances, prioritizing initiatives based on financial impact and ROI. (Essential)
Compiles and reports out on property utility usage and financial data through monthly reports or ad-hoc reporting requests. (Essential)
Assists with creation of annual company utility budgets and tracks performance of company utility expenses and income to budget. (Essential)
Manages efforts related to energy reductions and utility infrastructure implementation, including tracking performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement, and making programmatic adjustments to more effectively achieve stated goals. (Essential)
Pilots programs and services to capture business savings and revenue generating activities that improve value while being dedicated to environmental sustainability in collaboration with property leadership teams. (Essential)
Researches and evaluates options, presents recommendations, and implements programs for reducing utility usage, utility costs and related conservation programs
Serves as a liaison between Sun Communities and all utility companies, including working to identify expanded opportunities for innovation, partnerships, rebates, and programmatic development
Collaborate with Asset Management, Operations, Finance, Sustainability, and Strategic Sourcing groups on strategic initiatives
Assists Sustainability team in compiling quarterly progress report for executive management; reporting on corporate energy metrics and other resource and utility based key performance indicators

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (Required)
3 years in of analyst and/or project management experience (Required)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, modeling, and reporting skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have a valid driver's license
