Responsibilities
Serve as the primary operations point of contact for an assigned product line or platform
Provide operational oversight for a portfolio of technology services, applications, and supporting infrastructure
Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable IT services that meet or exceed SLAs
Drive adherence to enterprise operations standards and ITIL-based service management processes
Coordinate and lead incident, change, problem, and configuration management activities
Perform and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for high-severity incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Proactively manage platform and infrastructure environments to improve resiliency, availability, and performance
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements on time and within scope
Collaborate with engineers, SMEs, vendors, and stakeholders to support design, implementation, and ongoing operations
Communicate effectively with senior leadership on operational status, risks, and improvement initiatives
Support technology planning, implementation strategies, and execution schedules
Apply risk management principles across all operational and delivery efforts
Mentor and provide secondary support to other operations managers as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
6–9+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, technology services management, or infrastructure management
Strong experience supporting large-scale, enterprise hosting environments
Advanced knowledge of network and security technologies, including: WAN, VPN, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancers
Cloud and data center network operations
Connecting complex networks using secure integration patterns
Proven experience managing tiered application and distributed systems in enterprise environments
Strong understanding of how infrastructure components work together to deliver secure and reliable services
Hands-on experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow or equivalent platforms
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
Experience supporting or collaborating with product management teams across the full product lifecycle
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence technical and business decisions
Ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
Preferred
ITIL certification
Cloud technology certifications
Experience with AIOps and automated operations capabilities
Exposure to observability patterns and monitoring strategies for proactive operations
Experience working in highly regulated or security-focused environments
