Responsibilities

Assist in developing and enhancing automation tools ( Python, VB scripts, etc.) based on PSS®E, TSAT, and/or PSCAD
Analyze system performance data and contribute to improvements in reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and client engagements
Participate in site visits, data collection, and commissioning activities as needed
Stay current with industry trends, standards, and technologies in power systems and energy automation

Required

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Understanding of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, and protection
Strong Python programming skills for data analysis or tool customization
Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., PowerWorld, PSS®E, MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred

Experience with PowerWorld, PSS®E, MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, and PSCAD
