Responsibilities

Debug complex analog & digital electrical systems
Support root cause analysis from issue identification to countermeasure implementation
Use analytical tools & techniques including Functional Testing, Electrical Debug, X-Ray, Thermography, & others
Execute experiments to test theories about failure cause
Rework fine pitch electronics & PCBAs

Qualification

Debugging electrical systemsSoldering SMD componentsReading schematicsUsing electrical test equipmentFailure analysis techniquesDigital communication protocolsFine motor skillsAnalytical skills

Required

1+ Years of industry experience or demonstrable experience debugging & reworking complex electrical circuits
Extensive experience working with tools such as Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Curve Tracer, Function Generator, etc
Extremely proficient at soldering & rework on complex boards & SMT components
Proficient at reading schematics & debugging analog & digital circuitry
Experience with common digital communication protocols (I2C, CAN, etc.)

Preferred

Experience with common failure analysis techniques & methods preferred
Experience with power electronics is a plus
