Summer Turnover Technician - Charlottesville, VA
The Caton Companies is seeking Turnover Technicians for a summer position in Charlottesville. The role involves efficiently preparing residential rental units for new tenants, ensuring high-quality work and tenant satisfaction through various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
General maintenance repairs to include light plumbing, electrical and appliance work
Minor spackling and caulking repairs to interior walls
Removal and replacement of caulking at tubs, showers and floors
Other miscellaneous repairs and maintenance needs as unit inspections and work orders dictate
Complete assigned paperwork in both paper and digital formats, with proper notes and material use records
Stay compliant with all safety policies and procedures
Maintain polite and professional customer service and co-worker relationships
Extended work hours, including many weekends, are expected as turnover schedule dictates
Qualification
Required
Must own a car and a phone
Able to work weekends
Strong desire to learn
Ability to follow written instructions
Skills to work independently

Occasionally outdoors in all weather conditions

Frequent need (33% to 66% of the time) to work in awkward and confining positions
Reliable personal transportation and the use of this personal transportation for daily travel to and from assigned work locations
Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage
High School/Technical School/GED, general skills acquired through routine home maintenance work
