They are currently seeking an experienced Construction Engineering Inspector/Technician to perform routine inspections and documentation of construction processes to ensure compliance with contracts.

Responsibilities
Making and checking engineering computations
Documenting/Inspecting construction work
Materials testing in the field
Inspection of truck load tickets for aggregate, asphalt, or concrete
Writing daily inspection reports, performing verification testing, and documenting test results and observations
Performing SWPPP inspections
Assisting in all types of record keeping and field measurements, as needed
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Resident Engineer and/or Construction Engineering and Inspection Manager
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years of experience in construction inspection, any prior experience in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection is preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and immediate ability to work in the United States
Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Must apply safety philosophy and program to all operations
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment
Valid driver's license
A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role
Preferred
At least 6 years of inspection experience with some MoDOT Technician Certifications
ACI Field and/or Strength, Troxler or similar state DOT certification are preferred but not required
