Responsibilities
Champion Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment
Use Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) to measure the reactivity of uncured epoxy and report glass transition temperature
Understand use of and maintenance of a respirator
Use rheometer to measure plasticity of silicone
Measure weight and density of epoxy
Documenting and analyzing test results of various chemicals
Mix and handle various chemicals using proper PPE
Monitor the shelf life of various chemicals
Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods
Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation
Participate in supporting Operations and Engineering to identify the root cause and be an active participant in identifying the solution and helping the team implement and ensure that it followed rigorously
Qualification
Required
High School diploma, associate's degree or combination of education and work experience
Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP ERP is a plus
Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the U.S
Preferred
Experience with tools like SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP
Quality Technician preferred 2 to 5 years' experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
