Accounting and Operations Associate
PressurePro Inc. is a dynamic and growing organization that revolutionizes tire maintenance by providing innovative Smart Tire Sensors. They are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Accountant responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations
Prepare and develop and regularly update financial reports using our ERP system to inform and guide management decisions
Regularly maintain clear and detailed records of accounting transactions
Prepare sales tax reports
Review and maintain inventory counts and stale inventory
Assist the COO with logistics planning and forecasting
Stay compliant with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
Monitor any variances from the projected budget
Use bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases proficiently
Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
Assistance with providing supporting documentation for annual tax returns and audits
Qualification
Required
Proven accounting and bookkeeping experience and working knowledge of GAAP
CPA credential, and bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Proficiency with accounting software systems, Excel and other Microsoft office applications
Strong analytical skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
