Vice President Institutional Equity Sales
Coda Search│Staffing is representing an independent equity research platform in search of a VP of Equity Sales. This role focuses on managing client relationships and driving new business development within institutional equity sales.

Responsibilities
Build, nurture, and grow strong relationships with institutional investors, traders, and portfolio managers
Work closely with Analysts and Strategists to deliver insights and perspectives that go beyond the balance sheet
Develop a nuanced understanding of client needs, maintaining a proactive approach to portfolio construction
In addition to inheriting an existing book, this person will be incentivized to prospect, network, and perform outbound tasks within new logos and existing accounts
Qualification
Required
7-15+ years of experience in institutional equity sales, with an established book of business
Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and the competitive landscape of investment management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to concisely communicate complex financial concepts with poise
A strong client-centric mindset with a sales methodology designed to win new business and expand existing relationships
A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Ability to collaborate effectively with research teams and operate in a collegial sales environment
Preferred
CFA/CPA designation is a plus
