Commercial Insurance Lines Account Manager

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager for a top Commercial Insurance Agency in Sussex County, NJ. This role serves as the primary contact for an assigned book of business, delivering expert guidance on coverage and policy structures while ensuring exceptional client service.

Logistics & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of commercial business, ensuring prompt, professional, and comprehensive service for all accounts
Strategic Consulting: Anticipate client needs and provide customized insurance solutions that align with their business risk profiles
Account Servicing: Build and maintain strong relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving complex issues, and offering expert guidance on insurance coverage and protection
Rate-Making & Underwriting: Apply technical knowledge of rate-making and underwriting practices to manage client policies and coordinate successful annual renewals
Operational Efficiency: Coordinate with internal team members to maintain efficient workflows and solve daily operational challenges within the agency
Market Interaction: Utilize knowledge of various insurance markets and rating procedures to secure optimal solutions for clients

Qualification

Property & Casualty licenseCommercial insurance experienceApplied TAM softwareMicrosoft OfficeSolution-focusedCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsSelf-motivatedDetail-orientedTime-management abilities

Required

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is REQUIRED
Minimum of three (3) or more years of experience specifically servicing commercial insurance accounts is required
Proven track record of managing client relationships and navigating diverse insurance markets
Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on consultative professionalism
Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-focused with strong organizational and time-management abilities

Preferred

Professional designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, or AAI are preferred
Experience with Applied TAM software is highly preferred
