Compass Mining is a leading provider of Bitcoin mining services. They are looking for a Datacenter Technician to join the Facility Operations team, responsible for ensuring continuous operation and security of critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on facilities and hardware

Monitor hardware

Complete day-to-day tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Respond to and remediate equipment faults identified by customers or internal monitoring systems

Assist in the customer onboarding process by installing servers

Travel to mining facilities for site inspections

Lifting up to 55lbs

Maintain logs for service and maintenance on deployed assets

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

A technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience

1+ years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment

Comfortable working with a team of technicians in a 24x7 operating environment

Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, construction, security, and fire protection are preferred

Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance is desired but can be acquired
