Responsibilities

Process dental insurance claims and pre-treatment estimates

Handle billing, reimbursement, denials, and appeals with private carriers and managed care orgs

Verify documentation (EOBs, insurance cards, narratives) and audit patient records

Work with dental/medical coding, cross-coding, and electronic claims

Communicate extensively with insurance vendors via portals

Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
