Facilities and Operations Assistant
PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families is a private special education day school organization dedicated to supporting students with behavioral health challenges. They are seeking a Facilities & Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager in maintaining campus safety and functionality, coordinating maintenance, and assisting with various operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Assisting with day-to-day school operations, safety, and campus access
Coordinating maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vendor services
Supporting emergency preparedness, fire drills, and crisis response
Managing supplies, inventory, and operational documentation
Providing backup coverage during Operations Manager absences
Assisting with school closings, delayed openings, and special projects
Supporting students and staff with facility-related needs
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or emergency situations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working in a school environment with students
Preferred
Experience in facilities, school operations, maintenance coordination, or a similar role preferred
Valid driver's license preferred
