Friends of Cyrus is seeking a Director of Budget, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead strategic financial planning and oversee annual budgeting and forecasting. The role involves managing an FP&A team, developing financial reports, and acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership while optimizing financial operations.

Responsibilities

Lead annual budget processes, multi-year financial plans, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Develop financial models, trends, and variances (cost-benefit, revenue, etc.) to provide actionable insights

Oversee the creation of accurate financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management and board presentations

Act as a key advisor to senior leadership and department heads, translating financial data into strategic recommendations

Implement best practices, enhance financial systems, and automate processes for efficiency

Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team

Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and audit processes
