Encode, Inc., a subsidiary of LanceSoft, is seeking an Assembler B to support production operations in the Wheel & Brake department. The primary role involves hands-on assembly, disassembly, and inspection of aircraft wheel and brake components, ensuring compliance with company and FAA standards.

Responsibilities

Perform routine assembly and disassembly operations on aircraft wheels and brakes
Inspect, clean, and prepare parts for further processing or shipment
Sandblast and repackage components according to work instructions
Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools to perform assigned tasks
Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure parts are properly labeled and routed
Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives in the work area
Work cooperatively with other team members and departments as directed by leadership

Qualification

Mechanical experienceAssembly experienceUse of hand toolsUse of power toolsAttention to detail

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Ability to use hand, power, and air tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred

Mechanical or assembly experience preferred (manufacturing, maintenance, or repair)
