Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and maintaining facility safety programs, inspections, and compliance initiatives
Support HAZMAT handling, documentation, and response procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
Conduct routine safety walkthroughs and help identify corrective actions for workplace hazards
Contribute to OSHA compliance activities, including recordkeeping, training coordination, and incident reporting
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to promote safe work practices and reinforce safety culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science required
1–5 years of EHS experience in a facility, industrial, or healthcare setting
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and general industry safety requirements
Familiarity with HAZMAT protocols, chemical handling, or emergency response procedures
Strong communication skills with the ability to support safety initiatives across multiple departments
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying risks and recommending solutions
Ability to handle fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
Basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and training coordination
