Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Jira expert for the Annuity PM organization, taking ownership of workflow configuration and optimization

Address current challenges related to handoffs, visibility, and reporting across teams

Design, build, and maintain Jira dashboards that present data in a clear, consumable format for PMs and leadership

Manipulate and structure Jira data to improve decision-making, progress tracking, and risk identification

Partner with internal IT Jira experts to understand Transamerica-specific data structures and workflows, while independently owning day-to-day Jira execution

Create efficiencies that allow other PMs to focus on organizational readiness and delivery

Provide execution support to PMs running multiple annuity initiatives, ensuring consistency across project tracking, reporting, and readiness activities

Standardize processes where possible to improve execution speed and quality across the portfolio

Act as a hands-on contributor rather than an advisory-only PM

Support go-to-market planning for annuity product initiatives, aligning release timing, readiness, and promotional activities

Partner with Marketing, Distribution, Product, and Operations to ensure end-to-end readiness for product launches

Assist in coordinating demos, communications, and launch enablement activities as needed

Help centralize and align organizational readiness efforts into a holistic center of excellence model

Ensure consistency across five concurrent, high-value annuity projects, aligning go-to-market activities to release dates

Required

7+ years of project management experience, with senior-level ownership and execution responsibility

Expert-level Jira experience, including workflow configuration, dashboard creation, and data manipulation

Proven ability to take over and independently manage Jira ownership in a complex enterprise environment

Strong experience managing handoffs, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination

Experience supporting or leading go-to-market initiatives, ideally within insurance or financial services

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and learning specialized systems and data models

Preferred

Experience within insurance or annuity products

Background supporting multi-million-dollar programs or portfolios

Prior experience helping PM organizations mature tools, reporting, or readiness frameworks
